She sells seashells by the seashore?

Hello! So I was contacted by Born Pretty and they asked me to pick out some stuff and do reviews on them. Super excited I decided to try it out (:

I chose these pretty looking sea shells because well I've always seen other girls with the nice sea shell nails and I wanted to try it. Unfortunately for me I've been lacking time and I did the simplest thing. Shown below are the shells I ordered from Born Pretty. It's an assorted 40 pieces from small or large shells either in silver or gold.

I prepped my nails as per usual and then painted on two layers of Chanel's Pearl Drop as my base. Then I stuck a large gold shell on all my nails middle near the cuticle bed. Then I went over it with top coat and let it dry. Below is a close up of how it looks and where I placed it on my thumb. The shells itself wasn't thick and pretty light. I barely feel it on my nail and forget that it's there.

The only issue I have is probably that the shells aren't completely flat for me because my nails are thinner and more rounded. You can see from the photo below that the edges pop up and sometimes they catch loose threads. Other than that I really love the shells and I forget that they're even on my nails!
