Cirque Swatches

First off I'd like to say Merry Christmas to everyone! I appreciate everyone who follows me old and new and I hope you had an amazing Christmas! Thank you all for being so patient with my blog. I am so sorry I haven't posted but I've been swamped with work and juggling two jobs is no joke! I was able to get some time for myself today so I have some swatches to share with you! Recently I've been getting into the indie scene and seriously started having an addiction to Cirque Colors by Annie. I absolutely love all her holos and try to see her every time she's back in town doing a flea market. So far I have gone to see her 3 times and I have come home with more polishes than I need to. *coughPOLISHAHOLICcough*

On to all the wonderful new polishes I've collected from her! Hehe~

Bejeweled. I had this one done a while back hence why my nails are longer. Part of the Arcus collection Bejeweled is described as a royal blue with a rainbow holographic finish. The formula is wonderful and it is opaque in two coats. Below I have two coats over a base and under a top coat. Bejeweled is currently available on her website.

Night Sky. I had done this one a while back which is why my nails are longer. Night sky is a midnight blue polish with a rainbow holographic finish. I used two coats over a base and topped it with a top coat. Formula is amazing and goes on very well. I had purchased this early October at Artists & Fleas and it was when she had released her Alchemy collection. I do not believe this is part of the collection as it is not on her website and it is currently not available.

Vesuvius. It is described as a strawberry red with a rainbow holographic finish. This is a favorite of not only me but my boyfriend as well (he had picked this out for me). We both love how this color shimmers in the sun and in natural light. My pictures don't do it justice really. The formula is amazing as well and it's opaque in two coats. Below I have two coats over a base and no top coat. Vesuvius is part of her Arcus collection and is available on her website.

In the Mood for Love over Vesuvius. It is a red glitter bomb polish. On my middle finger you can see that I indeed do have Vesuvius as my base. I had at one point used In the Mood for Love on it's own but it wasn't as bright as it is when Vesuvius is used as a base. The formula was good. You get enough glitter coverage with one coat I put two coats of In the Mood for Love over two coats of Vesuvius and no top coat was used. In the Mood for Love was part of a set of two that I had purchased when I had visited her three weeks ago. In the first picture above at the very beginning of the post, of the Cirque Booth, you can see some boxed sets and Vesuvius and In the Mood for Love was one of the sets I purchased. From what I can see on her website, In the Mood for Love is not available but Vesuvius is. The set together is not available online either.

Ginza. It is a silver polish with a rainbow holographic finish. This polish formula was like butter and opaque in one coat! I put on two though because it's become a habit (: Ginza was part of a set as well like Vesuvius and In the Mood for Love. I saw Annie sporting it when I went to vist her the second time around and she sold me on purchasing the set. Currently Ginza and the set it was part of is not available online.

Star Stuff. Like In the Mood for Love it is a silver glitter bomb with some purple, blue and green micro glitters. On my middle finger you can see that I have Ginza as my base. I put two coats of Star Stuff over two coats of Ginza and no top coat. The photo is slightly blurry so that you can see the different colored glitters the polish has. Star stuff and the set it is part of is currently not available online.

Magnum Opus. Part of the Alchemy collection is described as a mysterious purple-charcoal with a rainbow holographic finish. I purchased this beauty in October along with Night Sky and let me tell you... I was blown away! (Here you can find the post of what I did the first time I got the polish for day 11 of the #33DC). The formula is amazing and it is opaque in two coats. Below is 2 coats over a base and no top coat. Magnum Opus is currently available online on her website.

Baptisia. Part of the Alchemy collection and is described as a shimmery midnight indigo. My pictures really don't do it justice and I apologize for that. The application of the formula was good and it was opaque in two coats. Mine kind of dried to a semi matte finish. Below I have two coats over a base and with a top coat. Baptisia is currently available online on her website.

Popi is a bright light purple polish with a rainbow holographic finish. The formula is amazing and color is opaque in two coats. I have below two coats over a base coat and under one coat top coat. I purchased this color two weeks ago on my 3rd visit to see Annie. It was part of a set much like Vesuvius/In the Mood for Love and Ginza/Star stuff. She was kind enough to sell me the polish alone and I am very grateful that she did because I love this color a lot! This color is currently not available but will be making a debut during the Spring from what I was told.

I think it is very safe to say that I am addicited to all her rainbow holographic finish polishes. I think it is also very safe to say that I love purchasing products that are limited. All Cirque Color polishes have an amazing formula as well as stay on my nails for a good 3 days before they start chipping. To some it may not be great chipping wise BUT at my current job I do work with my hands a lot and I handle a lot of sharp metal objects. They're always chipping and breaking because it's difficult to maintain them when they're always being rough handled. I constantly either have them under water or they're frozen from not having gloves on. So for chipping after 3 days of insane abuse to my hands I say that's pretty good. If you want to check out what other beautiful amazing polishes Annie has you can visit her website http://www.cirquecolors.com/.
