#33DC Day 16: South America

#33DC stands for the 33 Day Challenge! This is hosted by Debbie Crumpet and run on the Facebook page Crumpet's Nail Tarts! Join us it's still not too late (:

So today is Day 16 (technically we're halfway through!!!) and the theme for today is South America. Alright I had difficulty with inspiration on this one just like I did India but with trusty Google I was able to find something.

So I always trust Google to find inspiration. I typed in South American Art and found some amazing graffiti work. I used two images I found on Colorburned. Here is the first one. It is a white octopus with a red outline. I thought it was pretty cool so I attempted to recreate it using different colors.

Here is my version. I have on A-England's Princess Tears as my base. I used Essie's Blanc as my Octopus. my outline was done with Sally Hansen's Purple/Violet Nail Art Pen. Lastly for the little Frankenstein bolts I have Polish Me To Go's Kiwi Squeeze.

For my thumb I grabbed inspiration from the same site Colorburned. I saw this adorable cute penguin and I'm all about penguins (:

This little guy was a bit more complicated. Again I have A-England's Princess Tears as my base. For the Penguin I used ORLY Liquid Vinyl. For his shirt I used Polish Me To Go's Kiwi Squeeze. His pants are Essie's In the Cab-ana. Suspenders and belt done with Sally Hansen's Nail Art Pen in Purple/Violet and Essie's Blanc.
